  • You’ll receive a message once any of your referred friends sign up.
  • Once they’ve made 5 trades (within the first 6 months of signing up) you’ll get your credit.

To Be Referred

  • This one is all in the hands of the referrer, but be sure to use their unique referral code when you sign up for your account.
  • Just make sure you make 5 trades (check the Terms & Conditions to understand exactly what kind of trade is eligible) within your first 6 months of membership if you want them to get the reward.

Refer a savvy pal to spread betting and investment trading platform IG and – if they make 5 trades within the first 6 months – you’ll earn a credit. You’ll earn $100 for each friend that places five qualifying trades within three months of account opening. On top of that, both your friend and you can each earn an additional reward of up to US$1,900 based on the spreads/commissions paid by your friend, summing to a total of $2,000. You can refer up to 5 people so that’s a whopping total of £10,000.

  • Hi, may I know what means by 5 trades? My friend trade 0.01$ for 5 times I also can get the reward?

    • Hi DJ,

      Here's what it says on the IG site: "A qualifying trade is a CFD with a minimum size of one mini contract (or equivalent) on which commission has been paid. Trades subject to a commission-free period will be excluded from this offer."
