Pros: We thought this was a great way to get a solid 10% discount on all Lakeland orders. You don’t need to be an existing customer to sign up for the referral programme and it’s very easy both to sign up and to share your code and link with your friends and family. While there’s a limit to the number of rewards you can earn through the programme, at 25 successful referrals per year we believe this to be pretty generous considering the potential discount value per reward. The programme is administrated through Mention Me, which is a reliable and transparent referral platform, where you can track your referrals and rewards in your browser.

Cons: The only real drawback we found to the programme is that it runs sporadically through the year – typically around big sale events such as Black Friday or Christmas. This means checking the site to ensure that the scheme is operating and that your referral link refers to the latest version in terms of rewards or other terms and conditions. It’s also a shame that the rewards are capped at 10% regardless of how many new customers you successfully refer.

• Referred friends must be new Lakeland customers and aged 18 or over for either party to be eligible for a reward.
