Get referred to Hyperoptic

1. To claim the reward you will need a referral link from an existing Hyperoptic customer. Don’t know where to look? Simply click here to use our link. You will always receive the full referral reward when using our links. Alternatively, check our comments section for any user-submitted links.
2. Once you click the link you will be forwarded to the Hyperoptic referral page. There’s a short form to fill in at this point, requiring just your name and email address. Be sure to use a real email as you will need to access the inbox to get your referral code, and will need to use the same email address when you sign up for your Hyperoptic account.
3. Wait for the email to confirm that your referral has been locked in. Within the email you will find your unique referral code and “Your link to switch”, which you can click to begin the process of purchasing your broadband.
4. Once you are at the checkout, be sure to tick the “I was referred” option and enter the code into the box. You can now complete your order as normal.
5. Once your Hyperoptic service has been live for at least 30 days you will receive another email giving you the opportunity to select your £25 reward voucher from a number of different retailers.

Refer a friend to Hyperoptic

1. To start the referral process you will first need visit the Hyperoptic refer a friend page and click the button labelled “Become a referrer”.
2. Next, you will need to log into your Hyperoptic account with your standard username and password. Once logged in you will find your personalised referral link along with a variety of methods for sharing it.
3. Share your unique referral link with your friends and family. Don’t forget to tell them that they will receive a £25 voucher for signing up via your link. They will need to click the link and fill out a short form. They will then receive an email with a referral code to enter during checkout, which will verify the referral bonus.
4. For every new customer who signs up to Hyperoptic broadband on a 12 or 24 month contract you will receive a £25 voucher. The voucher will be issued 30 days after the date when the new customer’s Hyperoptic service goes live.

Pros: The Hyperoptic referral programme is run by Buyapowa, which we know to be a well-known and trusted referral platform with good customer service. While the reward per referral is fairly modest, it is possible to refer up to 20 friends – worth a total of £500 – per year. The rewards are issued promptly once the new customer has signed up and a variety of retailers including Amazon UK can be chosen from. Each of Hyperoptic’s home broadband plans are eligible for reward.

Cons: Overall this is a really solid referral programme, but there are a few limitations. The reward is fixed at £25 and therefore does not increase should the new customer take out a more expensive contract. Only residential broadband packages are eligible for the reward. You must be an existing customer to refer friends to Hyperoptic.

• A qualifying purchase is the order of any of Hyperoptic’s 50Mb, 150Mb, 500Mb or 1Gb fixed term home broadband packages. Business broadband is not included.
