2. Click the referral link and you will be redirected to the Sephora website. Here you will need to provide your email address to unlock the discount code and then click the button labelled “Get 15% off”.
3. Now that you have accepted the discount offer you should receive an email from Sephora in the inbox of the address you provided. This will contain a link that you will need to follow to access the Sephora site and place your order.
4. You can now shop as normal. Remember to apply the discount when you check out for 15% off all eligible items in your order.

1. To start the process of referring a friend, begin by visiting the Sephora refer a friend page. Next, simply click the button labelled “Give 15% off”.
2. A form will appear on the page. To unlock your unique referral code you will need to fill out this form with your name and email address.
3. Once you have provided your details you’ll be granted access to a variety of methods for sharing your code – from simply copy and pasting the link, to email, social media, and various messenger apps.
4. Share your unique referral link with your friends and family. Make sure you remind them that by signing up via your unique link they will receive a 15% discount on their first order.
5. You will be notified by email whenever one of your friends successfully signs up and places an order. The email will contain your unique promotion code, which must then be entered into the Promotion Code box during checkout when you wish to use your discount.

Pros: We found the Sephora refer a friend programme, administrated by Mention Me, to be a very simple and clear way for both new and existing customers to get a generous 15% discount on orders from the Sephora website. At present there is no limit to the number of friends that can be referred, though fair use rules may apply, and most products are eligible for the discount. It’s easy to track referrals through the Mention Me platform and they give you plenty of options for sharing your link with your friends and family.

Cons: One drawback of the programme that we didn’t enjoy is that the promotion codes that the referrer receives need to be used within 7 days, which is quite a tight turn-around, and much shorter than the 3 month expiry date on new customers’ rewards. Beyond that, there are some product categories that aren’t eligible for the discount and there’s presently no way to combine this promotion with others or to increase the level of discount.

• To use the promotional code and receive the 15% discount a minimum spend of £5 must be met.

• New customer promotional codes are valid for up to 3 months, while the referrer’s code must be used within 7 days or it will expire.
• Only one promotional code can be used per order.
