Refer a Friend to OVO

  • Visit the OVO Energy refer a friend page and fill out the form with your details.
  • Be sure to use the same email address that you used when you signed up for OVO Energy.
  • Once you submit the form your unique referral code will be generated. You can now share this with your friends and family. Remember to let them know that they will receive a referral reward for signing up via your link.
  • Once your friend’s energy supply has been successfully switched to OVO Energy, you will both receive an email allowing you to choose from a range of gift cards and vouchers.
  • You can expect your reward to be issued within 30 days.

Get Referred to OVO

  • To be referred to OVO you will need a referral link or code. If you know an existing OVO customer then they should be able to share their code with you.
  • Don’t know any OVO customers? Check for user-submitted codes on this page or in the comments section below.
  • Clicking the referral link will redirect you to the OVO website, where you can request your energy supply be switched. Be sure to do this via the official OVO website and not a comparison site.
  • Once your energy supply has been switched to OVO you will be contacted by email so you can choose which voucher reward you would like. You should allow 30 days for the delivery of your reward.
  • Now that you are an OVO member you can generate your own referral code and start sharing it to earn additional rewards.

If your energy is supplied by Ovo you are automatically eligible to take part in their refer a friend scheme and will receive a £50 gift card for M&S, John Lewis Partnership or Amazon.co.uk for every new customer that you refer. As a reward for signing up via your referral link, the new customer will also receive their choice of voucher. Be sure that they sign up via the official OVO site (or by calling OVO directly on the phone) rather than a comparison website, or neither of you will be eligible to receive the reward.
