Read our detailed instructions below on how to take part in the Virgin Media referral programme and earn a £50 cash reward when you refer a new customer, or take out an eligible broadband, TV, or phone package. All Virgin Media services and Virgin Mobile (including Virgin Media O2 Volt) are eligible for rewards, so there are plenty of options for you and your friends to choose from.
Get referred to Virgin Media
- To be referred you will need a Virgin Media referral link. Don’t know any Virgin Media customers or can’t find a referral link? Just click here to use ours. You will always receive the full referral reward amount when using one of our links.
- Click the referral link and you will be redirected to the Virgin Media Aklamio site, where you can select whether you would like to process your order online or over the phone.
- If you choose to process the order online simply enter your email address into the form on the next page, this will allow you to keep track of your referral reward via the website.
- If you choose to process the order by phone make sure you copy down the reward code before you call as you will need to repeat it to the customer service representative.
- Once your order is complete your Virgin Aklamio account will be credited with the referral bonus within one month of your first bill being paid. You can then withdraw it to your bank account or via PayPal.
Refer a friend to Virgin Media
- The steps are the same whether you’re referring a friend to a mobile, TV, or broadband package. Begin the referral process by visiting the Virgin Media refer a friend page. Under the heading “How do I Refer a friend?” click the link labelled “Refer a friend” to begin your registration for the referral programme.
- Next, click the “Refer now” button and enter your email address to create your Virgin Media referral account. If you already have an existing Aklamio account you can sign in from this same page.
- Copy the referral link or use one of the other sharing options to start sharing your code with friends and family.
- As soon as somebody signs up via your link and places an order you will be notified via the email address you entered during sign up.
- Once the newly purchased service is up and running your reward will be available to withdraw from your Aklamio account within 60 days.

Cons: We didn’t encounter any significant issues when using the Virgin Media referral scheme. Customers should be aware that the rewards can take up to 60 days to be processed, starting when the new customer either takes delivery of their new product, or when their service is installed. Some privacy-conscious users may be concerned at giving their email address to a third party, but Aklamio is a trusted name in the industry and takes steps to ensure privacy and security.
Referral Terms and Conditions
We recommend that you always read the full terms & conditions before taking part, however there are conditions relating to the rewards that we suggest you double check to ensure you receive the reward as expected:
- Special offers such as Mates Rates, My Rates, Tribe, Partner Rates and any contract less than 12 months are not eligible for the reward.
- Some products or services may have a longer cancellation period, which could mean that the reward takes longer than the stated 60 days to arrive.
- The new customer must be new to Virgin Media. This means you won’t receive a reward for referring anyone who has received a service or product from Virgin Media within the last 6 months.
